Review: IObit Driver Booster 1.0

IObit Driver Booster is a utilty used to scan your computer for outdated drivers. It is currently in beta testing, and is being offered as a free download; for now. It can be used on multiple operating systems: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and Windows Server (32 bit and 64 bit for all applicable OS' s).
I tried this software out at the suggestion of a friend who insists that it is the best. He is far more tech savvy than I am, so I tried it out. I am capable of maintaining the basic processes on my pc, but beyond that I find frustration at every turn. My job centers around my pc, so it needs to be in good working order every day.
My biggest problem to date has been keeping my drivers updated. The Windows updates are automatic for the most part, but there are a few others that I am frustrated with before I even try. The first time I ran IObit, it updated the most elusive drivers for me. One would expect that to be the case. The part that surprised me was that it only took three clicks to complete the entire process. Open the program, click "scan", click "update". As I suspected, my video drivers were out of date. I have spent two hours just trying to find where this can be done, so suffice it to say, this made my day.
If there were a downside to this software, it would be exclusive to techies. For the average user it is without a bunch of options that only cause confusion. Under the "settings" menu, you will find six options. It couldn't be any easier. The final version of this software could definitely have more in-depth options, but if not, it will still be a great program. This software is not over-engineered like so many utilties of it's kind.
The free download of IObit Driver Booster can be found here. There is also a similar version for Android devices in the Google Play Store. It is also free, and is full of utilities to keep your device running smoothly; including malware removal and game booster. The interface is exquisite, and the ease of use is as good as the pc version. Search "Advanced Mobile Care".
