The One Percent Has Always Been

The shocking truth about the one percent has finally had time to sink in. The protests are being erased from our memories, but now we know for sure that there is a wealthy class. This class actually has so much money that they hold sway in what happens to the rest of us. Shocking.

I'm not exactly sure how this concept has been missed on so many Americans. The worst part is how a high school graduate could do so without knowing that the one percent has been since human civilization began. Whether it be a tribal Witch Doctor, or the owner of an entire country, there is always a ruling elite. This has always run paralell to wealth. Why would it be different in America?

Yes, you are subject to their collective agenda, and few of us will effect the world in that way. The freedom we are allowed lets us move about as we please. We are allowed to move up as far as we desire; relatively speaking. Despite the amounts of money they make, I enjoy my life as I choose. As far as us having say in anything that goes on at that level, I wouldn't bother. You either need a super billionare uncle who loves you deeply, or be willing to gain their attention through means that could have multiple life sentences attached to it. Most of us don't have the ability to do that, so we have to leave that to the brave souls who can. There will still be a one percent.

Government organization doesn't seem to matter historically. From Feudal States, to Communism, to Republic; the one percent exists. The only discernable difference between those philosophies are the level of freedom it's people are allowed. Governments are built and sustained by the one percent. A government like ours could be counted as one member of the ruling class; or at least the noise, standing in front of the super rich. I've seen enough documentaries to "know" that our government and it's messengers are only a diversion.

At the end of every day, we can be grateful for giant corporations. They provide us with really cool things. Yes, everything they feed us is corn-based, but at least we have the luxury of procuring it at any hour. I hope Mr. Samsung makes it in the one percent because I have seven of his products, and they all do amazing things. My internet is super fast too. As far as jobs go, these evil corporations will evolve, and so will the work force. We are still allowed to define ourselves. So until they create a device that requires any sort of implant, they won't occupy my mind; I've got things to do and I can't do it without big corporations. I can't make them pay more taxes, but I can use the stuff they produce. From now on we should rest easy. Humanity has existed this way for millenia, and we will -unless they change their minds and blow it all up.
