Walking Into Martyrdom

Image
"What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure." -Thomas Jefferson If the quotes from men like Jefferson hadn't been so terribly misunderstood, we might see that he was not talking from the standpoint of a government official. A popular army, nor any central government will ever be martyrs. Martyrdom is not reserved for the famous or the politician or the religious. It is also not reserved by death. There are many degrees of martyrdom; some are willing to die for what they believe to be true, and others believe they cannot die for believing lies. Still others throw themselves in the way of forces far too potent for their wit and intellect, without knowing what they are standing for. "While I do not suggest that humanity will ever be able to dispense with its martyrs, I cannot avoid the suspicion that with a little more thought and a li...

What Is Anarchadia?

Image
I have been following an organization named "Anarchadia" for some time now, and the information they are sharing is invaluable. Anarchism is generally not synonymous with cool heads, and I had my suspicions. I wanted to know more, so I was granted an interview with the intrepid leader who frequently steps over the line of what we are allowed to say. His words are censored, his facebook page disappears from time to time, and I think this is a problem. It is a blatant over-reach of the powers that be, as he is not saying anything that we shouldn't already know about our government. Somehow his insight is different from the conspiracy theorists... 1. What is Anarchadia, and where can it be found? Anarchadia is a non-profit which originally started as just unspinning mainstream misinformation (tailored by well paid spin doctors working for government and corporate interests, not the general public's), and was started originally just as a blog in Lyon, France, the birthp...

The Anonymous Revolution

Image
Revolution is generally thought of as a vehicle for violent change. The term is applied correctly most of the time; especially when there is an actual revolution going on. The kind where despots are un-seated, regimes are replaced and a new group takes the reigns. There have been plenty of examples of this type of revolution for us to look at. There are a handful of groups that wish this on America. I am not the biggest fan of the way our government works -or doesn't- and I don't appreciate how tiny each of our voices are. Money, and a convoluted system of capitalism have obviously rendered them useless, and us subserviant. I have a feeling that we will be invaded by a foreign enemy before we experience a homegrown revolution. If you move past the anger of how ridiculous it all is, you might see that we are in no place to tell our government what to do. Though we posess the right to bear arms, we are disallowed equal arms. I can't afford an Apache, much less a fleet of the...

Obama; Revelation or Revolution?

Welcome to the war Mr. President. I know your tail feathers are still on full display after the party we threw for you, but you need to put the champagne away. I heard you say many things in your address, but so far the only people that actually pull off the stunts you spoke of did not do it under the flag of a nation like ours. The individuals that pull off revolution on a mass scale have to be both unified and bold. These people start with an idea, then organize and execute until their purpose is served. You might get away with censoring us, taxing us out of existence, or rounding up dissenters to fill your camps, but if you do, there will be swarms of true US citizens fighting against you.    I hope that the "gridlock" stays firmly rooted in your town. You will be strangled by those stubborn, one dimensional pricks in Congress for another four years. They hate you and your ideas. Policy is a thing of the past, and until your branch, and the others surpass grid...

The New Imperialist

Image
Imperialism is such a tricky word these days. It's another one of those words whose definition has been subdued for it's true nature; blatant theft of life, land, and culture. Imperialism did not end with our "procurement" of the Hawaian Islands. It didn't end when Britain stole the Falklands. It didn't end at 50 states because it was a good number. It hasn't ended at all. The difference between the glory days of pillaging new frontiers and the more modern form are slight. The main difference is that we pick targets for nothing more than natural resources or strategic posturing. We don't even look for good slave labor any more; just new ways to kill.    During the more innocent years, we sent missionaries into new lands first. The idea was that if the savages of this land, or that could be subdued, saved, and churched with the fear of some alien god, then there would be no need for guns. The first option didn't really work; ever.     The secon...
